Time to get a horse. I just do not see this……….We already are paying a high price for electricity, the infrastructure is going to be a huge challenge, especially in rural states like New Mexico. I was reading yesterday the wind farms are going to really pop up in the west more than ever, those wind turbines are ruining our landscape. Plus. I talked to two men who were doing bird surveys for the government in Wyoming during our Great Commission trip. They both expressed concern that birds are being killed by the wind turbines. I beleive we are creating a very big mess. When I was back home in southwestern Minnesota about 5 years ago, I was so sad at all the wind turbines, it has ruined the beauty of the area, blinking red lights all over at night. It all does not make sense to me at all. We have a friend in Denver who bought an electric car and when he plugs it in to recharge it, the lights in his house dim.

From THE HILL:

The California Air Resources Board voted on Thursday to ban the sale of gas-powered cars starting in 2035.

The state’s Advanced Clean Cars II rule would ratchet up the proportion of electric or non-emitting cars required to be sold in the state annually, until new sales must be 100 percent electric starting in 2035.

Adrienne Nice woke up early on the morning of July 25 to news she’d been dreading. The power company, Xcel Energy Inc., had shut off the electricity to the small Minneapolis apartment she shares with her teenage son, just as a heat wave was bearing down on the city
