But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of
God—
having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
2 Timothy 3:1-5

Repent New Mexico! Change your ways!!! Walk away from sin! Be Born Again!

FGGAM STATEMENT OF FAITH:

I have to say that there is news in the ABQ Journal that is not reported by the TV stations. I have gone back to subscribing to the Journal. I am very sad deep down, as the LORD has shown me I am going to lose friends over this message. Some or many will be mad at me for posting what God has shown me. I am not a politician, I am all sold out for GOD. I will risk everything for HIM,

The Journal reported in it’s Sunday issue the results of their poll on the Governors race in New Mexico. Governor Lujan Grisham has 7 point lead over GOP candidate Ronchetti. Women and Hispanic voters give Lujan Grisham the edge. The Governor had 47% of the vote in the poll, Rochetti 40%, Libertarian Karen Bedonie had 5% and 8% were undecided. Candidate Bedonie may have more of a say on who wins than many think, she could swing this race either way.

As I prayed what to write about the results of this poll, I realized I was not surprised that Governor Lujan Grisham leads Rochetti by a bit. Why? New Mexico is an anti-life state, has been, and unless many come to know Jesus it will always be this way. Now, I am not to excited at all about candidate Ronchetti and his lukewarm stance on abortion. Some of my staunch GOP friends say they will vote for Ronchetti, but hold their nose while doing so.  I am still not clear on his opinion. Sadly, it is hard for a pro-life candidate to win in this state. Two of the states most powerful pro-life candidates have ran for state offices and lost, Elisa Martinez of New Mexico Alliance for Life and Ethel Maharg the Director of New Mexico Right to Life. These two women have given their lives to fight for God’s babies. They both and many others have sacrificed much for God and His babies.

When you look at all the failures of the state for years and years, failure to repent of killing God’s babies, and all the other sinful actions like, parents killing children, children being killed by gun violence, I have done too many funerals where children have been killed by gun violence, drug overdoses, now the state has legalized pot. New Mexico suffers from child hunger, violent crime rages on, murders soaring, homelessness increasing always near the bottom in America in child-wellbeing, a failing education system, poverty, on and on we go. We have lived here since 1995 and it has been failure after failure, even with Republican Martinez, in the governors seat for 8 years. How can folks be happy about New Mexico? Look what we are doing to the blessings poured out by God. We all are failing God.

What happens to all these financial windfalls the politicians get excited about in New Mexico? I see the latest windfall is a billion or more? But year after year the state gets so much money and blows it and still finishes in last place in America in so many categories. When we moved here in 1995 we were told the casino industry would turn the state around with all its generated revenue for the state. We were promised improved education and roads and more! We still have bad roads, bridges that are falling apart and our education system stinks. The other proble4m I have with the GOP and DEMS is the failure to tear down CYFD and start from scratch. CYFD has always been a disaster here since we moved to New Mexico. Children dying because of the failure of CYFD and the politicians of this state, both the DEMS and GOP put up with this extreme dysfunction. Just like abortion.

I do not know if things will change in this state. Dysfunction has run very, very deep for many, many years, no matter who is in the governors seat.

It is time for New Mexico to repent and to face JESUS. It is time for a Great Awakening here. But, so many have tried to awaken New Mexico and failed, because the state is anti-life in so many ways. I listed them all in this post. Abortion, drugs, booze, child killings, drug overdoses, rape, parents abusing children, child hunger and on and on….in my book of life, all these categories fall under my list on anti-life list.

How can God be happy with New Mexico? I sure don’t know.

There is a lot of prayer going on in New Mexico, a lot of what i call, “high school pep rallies…..BUT! We need to REPENT as a state, We need to seek the face of JESUS and change our ways. The state has many prayer rallies, but the state does not change its ways! It only gets worse here!!!!!!!!!! I have to beleive that the state as a whole, fits into the George Barna research that shows only 6% of America holds a Biblical Worldview, AND only 37% of pastors hold a Biblical Worldview. True repentance is not only sorrow for sins and humble penitence and contrition before God, but it involves the necessity of turning away from them, a discontinuance of all evil practices and deeds, a thorough reformation of life, a vital change from evil to good, from vice to virtue, from darkness to light.

The Church in New Mexico, like all of America has failed to carry out The Great Commission. How many folks has your Church baptized in the last three years? Is your Church growing? Is your Church raising up mature Christians? Does your Church have children in it? Do you have a strong children’s ministry? Does your have a strong children and adult Sunday school? It is time for the Church in New Mexico and all of America to look into the mirror, better yet, into the face of JESUS and repent for our failures. REPENT!!!!! Many Christians are putting the cart before the horse.

This post is why I will never be a popular man in New Mexico and America. I am all sold out for God, not for politics ands conspiracy theories.

We always do not understand the workings of the Lord, that is why I wanted to share this message with you from Bob Russell in CHURCHLEADERS:

There are reasons why prayers are not answered, even though I get a little impatient with super-spiritual saints who leave the impression that they have a deeper grasp of prayer than most. Such folks teach that if other believers just understood God’s Word better—or had more faith in prayer—God would answer all their requests. They would never suffer illness or poverty again. Such leaders seem to ignore the fact that Jesus was poor and the Apostle Paul struggled with a thorn in the flesh throughout his life. Paul prayed for God to remove the pain, but the Lord did not answer this petition.
