UPDATED FRIDAY MORNING!

CBN: Pope Francis wraps up his week-long visit to Canada today where he apologized for the church’s abuse of the indigenous population over the past two centuries. More than 150,000 children were taken from their families and sent to church-run boarding schools where many suffered abuse and even death. The same mistreatment of Native children also happened here in the United States. Here’s what you need to know.

John 11:35: Jesus wept.

This is such an ongoing tragedy in the world, this all comes from the pit of hell! So many people have been victims to sexual abuse and other nasty abuses by the Catholic Church for years and years. Will it stop? I pray so. The Catholic Church is not the only denomination that has committed sexual abuse, it is a growing problem in the American Church. The Southern Baptist Convention has been in the news a lot for the last several months for all ther wrong reasons. As I carry out The Great Commission I hear this a lot, “I do not go to church because so many are doing bad things to people.” OR “I don’t go to Church because it has become political.” Too much of the American Church is chasing people away from the Bride of Christ.

I feel for Rev. Vincent Chavez of New Mexico, why should his congregation have to help out the diocese because of the evil behavior of some? I respect the Reverend so very much for speaking out!

The Santa Fe New Mexican Reports:

The Rev. Vincent Chávez was publicly critical when the diocese asked its 93 individual parishes to contribute a combined $12 million to help cover a gap in the settlement.

NM Priest says he was put on leave for speaking out on sex abuse settlement

The Pope went to Canada to apologize………I watched many of the folks in Canada on TV speak about this abuse……they are scared for life.

GOD will have the final say on all these abusers and the Churches, who have done such terrible things to God’s people.

The pope’s apology to Indigenous people doesn’t go far enough, Canada says
