REMINDER: TONIGHT COUNCILOR GROUT PROPOSES TO RE-DIRECT PLANNED PARENTHOOD FUNDING TO HOMELESS YOUTH
As we reported Friday, ABQ City Councilor Renee Grout proposes to re-direct $250,000 Planned Parenthood funding to homeless youth and women’s shelter. We encourage concerned citizens to attend the Albuquerque City Council meeting TODAY: Monday, June 6 at 5:00 PM to voice your concerns and support councilor Renee Grout’s proposal, R-22-46.
If you are unable to attend, please make sure to contact Albuquerque City Councilors below and urge them to support R-22-46 to re-direct abortion funding to address the massive homelessness problem in the city.
“Our response as a City to the current homelessness crisis is more crucial and urgent than supporting Planned Parenthood at this time, ” said Councilor Renee Grout. “This allocation will have a much greater impact on our community than funding services that not all taxpayers agree with and many believe is immoral.”

  • Planned Parenthood abortion corporation has a vast political operation in New Mexico called “Planned Parenthood Votes,”and “Planned Parenthood Action Fund,” what prevents our taxpayer funds used against political opponents? Is this a political payback?
  • Due to New Mexico’s lack of ANY protections for women and unborn children from abortion, one clinic has sent over 50 women to the emergency room — including the death of Keisha Atkins. Who is liable when something goes wrong?
  • Why was the vote to fund Planned Parenthood abortion corporation last month not listed on any agenda?  Why was the public kept in the dark about this vote?
  • Planned Parenthood of New Mexico’s Albuquerque clinic performs surgical, D & E or dismemberment abortions up to 5 months gestation. On average, Planned Parenthood of New Mexico brings in $4.7 million in annual revenue. Why do they NEED taxpayer dollars?
