I have to say I have always loved the hymns in Church. The Baptist hymnal is all tied into scripture. Yes, I am old fashion but I do enjoy some of the modern day music, if it is not to loud. I really miss Church choirs! I grew up the American Lutheran Church in the 50’s and 60’s with such a precious Church choir! Why did they get eliminated in many Churches? I also love piano and organ music. This month at the First Baptist Church in Magdalena, when I was filling in for my buddy Pastor Paul Holt I got to hear one of the worship leaders, George, play the trumpet!!!!! I got chills up my back, I was so very happy in the Lord! WOW WEE! George also plays the electric piano, he is so awesome! When I was back home years ago for the Windom Revival, I was blessed by getting to share a message at the American Lutheran Church in Windom, Minnesota! THRILL OF A LIFETIME! I will carry that memory to HEAVEN! Thank you God and Pastor Sarah Larson Tade and the late Pat Fisher for answered prayer. The ALC has such an Awesome Bell Choir! WOW! Made me weep!

Everybody is different and has his or her favorite music.

My favorite all-time song is “ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS” PTL!

I love the messages of Ed Stetzer in Churchleaders!

It may be a generalization to say the church today has three generational expressions, but I think churchleaders can work with it, especially with respect to music in the church. You can walk into most churches and recognize quickly what generation it falls into. Ed Stetzer: Churchleaders Must Face The Future of Music in the Church
