Please God, Not Rusty…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Life is such a journey. Recently I met someone that is in need of a vehicle. Although, I wasn’t the answer to her prayer, I did bless her, and prayed God would meet her need. Then I remembered…
I was invited to speak in another town a few years ago. I remember thinking my car wouldn’t make it. It was a bit rusted too and that car held some memories I wish I never knew. I said my morning prayer and asked God if it was him that was calling me to speak in the town several hours away. I remember praying God, please don’t make me take rusty, I don’t think it would make it.
The next morning once again I began to write and pray and a man’s name that owned a car dealer popped into my mind. Although I didn’t know him, I knew I had heard from God. I phoned the dealership and spoke with him. I told him I had just put my down payment in my furnace, but I was looking to buy a car. Recently divorced, I knew the odds were against me, but God was with me. Somehow, I knew he would help me. He asked me what I was looking for and I was surprised what came out. A Toyota Rav, I replied. A friend and I had tried one out a month or so earlier, but I wasn’t sure how I would do it all.
The nice man replied to me, Oh I am having one of those coming in tomorrow if you want to test drive it. Come in and fill out the paperwork and I will get things started, he said to me. I did as he instructed and the next day, I went to try it out. As I started the Caribou Road in my town, I heard God speak again. The same scripture he gave me when he called me to ministry was this; Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give unto you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. (Acts 3:6) God gave me that scripture when he called me to ministry years earlier at a local church. Although, I didn’t quite understand it all, I knew it was the anointing, the anointing on my life. I also knew this was the vehicle and I immediately turned around and went back to the dealership and said this was my vehicle. The man personally loaned me the down payment and I paid him back in the weeks that followed. The next day, I was on my way to speak to a group of hurting people, that needed to hear some good news.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Jesus. Thank you that your Word tells us you meet all our needs according to your riches in heaven. (Philippians 4:19)
Father, we lift up everyone today that needs transportation. God, you have the answer. Father, send them help from on high, we pray in agreement. You have all the answers to the many life issues and your news is always the best news, the good news. You desire the very best for your people, as they believe.
Father may miracles happen all across this globe today, as people hear your voice and respond, for your glory alone. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Thank God you have transportation and pray for those that need it. Give someone a ride today that needs it, someday that person may just be you.
