I will remember Colin Powell as a who tried to keep politics out of the military. Colin Powell was bipartisan in my book. Colin Powell served our Country so very well. General Powell first served under President Regan, that shows the type of man Colin Powell was. Powell joined the military in 1958!
“I have had a chance to serve my country, and I’ve had a chance to do things that have benefited my country. And when it’s all over, I just hope that they say, ‘He was a good soldier. He raised a good family, and God bless him.’ That’s all I ask for,” Powell said.
