Declare, I Will Not Smell Like Smoke…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As we continue on our journey with Jesus, we may have a temporary setback. Temporary it is, as we walk through the fire. He is right there with us.
In Daniel 3:1-27 we read of that account. In verse 26-27 King Nebuchadnezzar approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”
So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
When we go through trials, Jesus is with us, as he was with the three boys in the fire. I especially love the second part of this, we won’t even smell like smoke.
No matter what we face, the trial will not overtake us because Jesus is the fourth man in the fire. We are never alone, we are walking with a King.
Father, thank you for walking every day with us. You always keep your promise no matter what the day will bring. You journey life with us when we are on the mountaintop and when we are in the valley. When we are in the fire, you bring us out.
Father, thank you that your Holy Spirit leads and guides us by the still waters. We can write victory on every situation that comes our way, because of who you are and the price you paid.
Father, even when we come out of the fire we won’t even smell like smoke, because of who our Father is. Your Word is forever settled and we have victory in Christ Jesus. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Declare today, I will not smell like smoke.
