I just returned from a medical procedure and I know I am late getting this out! So sorry! Thanks to John Block and Elisa Martinez for the heads up! Thank you for this information John!

Dewey,
Today, you have an opportunity to make your voice heard and stand up for fair redistricting in New Mexico by showing up at 3:00 p.m for the New Mexico Redistricting Committee’s first meeting — held virtually.
The Committee has already embraced left-wing groups planning what they claim are “fair” redistricting maps. However, these outside dark money groups are erroneously claiming there’s an attack on “minority voting rights,” although New Mexico is a minority-majority state.
Groups like the far-left “Common Cause New Mexico” claim to want “equitable district maps,” — code for left-leaning districts that favor Democrats.
We need conservatives and independent-minded New Mexicans to show up to demand the Committee draw FAIR maps that don’t favor Democrats via so-called “equitable” lines, taking away conservative seats and thus conservative voices.
I have to be honest with you here, Dewey: The cards are stacked against us right now, especially since the Committee has already shared information on redistricting from fringe groups like the socialist “NM Native Vote” and leftist academia, including the liberal Princeton University’s “Gerrymandering Project.”
The only way we will get fair maps drawn and conservatives will have a shot at fair elections in the future is if we all show up and DEMAND districts are drawn fairly, without the biases of outside groups that want left-leaning “equitable” districts.
Here is all the information you may need to join the meeting via Zoom or telephone. Public comment will be near the beginning of the meeting:
Friday, July 2, 2021, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Virtually via Zoom
Agenda & Meeting Materials: View or Download Here.
Meeting ID: 859 3072 6465
Dial-in Number: (669) 900-9128
Passcode: 430850

I can’t thank you enough for you doing your part to create a better future for our state by taking action and making your voice heard.

Always fighting for you,

– John Block
