God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for your message to us today! Much love in Jesus to you and your precious family!

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Psalm 119:11

One of the things that I really love to do, is read other peoples devotions. There are often times bits of nuggets that are priceless.

I also love my Sunday morning messages from my Pastor, Gale, he’s amazing and he preaches straight out of the word of God. He has taught us to stand in faith at a ‘red sea moment!’

From from time to time I love to listen to different sermons on different topics I might be going through. That’s also helpful.

But, the one thing that I don’t want to do, is only do the things I just mentioned. You see, it is my responsibility to know the word of God for myself.

I am responsible for knowing the truth. I am responsible for knowing if I am being lied to. I am responsible for knowing what God wants of me.

God has full power to do anything he wants to, but his people lack faith in him. And scripture tells us that faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the Word of God.

One way God speaks to us is through scripture, His Word. He lays out how we’re to live, to walk, and how we can inherit His blessings and kingdom.

But if we don’t take our own responsibility by submitting ourselves fully to the authority of His Word, nothing meaningful will ever come about in our lives.

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.

Psalm 119:18

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that the people were without excuse.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 1:20-21

While Noah was building the ark, what if the people that were laughing at him, and mocking him and probably thinking he was a conspiracy theorist, had actually sought the face of God on their own, to see if they heard the same word Noah had?

They wouldn’t have all drowned!

God loves you. He will fulfill his purpose in you, he will equip you, he will enable you, he will protect you and most importantly, he will accompany you. But you have to do your part, there are no more excuses, it is time to seek the face of God while he may be found!

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

Isaiah 55:6

My prayer for you today is that the word of God put a fresh on your heart.

Many Blessings,
