Water Walking With Jesus…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Life is such a journey, an exciting one at that. Recently, I have been talking to God about next steps. A friend recently said to me Angel, you have been through many no’s and I believe the time of yeses are here. That made this girl some excited. I believe that word is for many in the body of Christ today. It’s time for another step. Are you ready? If God is calling you to take another step, even if you have to do it afraid, do it.  He will walk with you out on the water.

Jesus gave Peter the ability to walk on water. But there was one thing Peter had to do before he was given the supernatural power from God released to him. He had to get out of the boat and start walking. it was only when he got out of the boat did the supernatural power of God come to him to walk out on the water. It is much easier to stay in our comfort zones and not be water walkers, but I believe God is bidding us to come.

The enemy of our soul will lie to us. He will tell us things like you can’t do that, who do you think you are? You don’t have enough money, that’s not God, your not worthy. His accusing voice tries to stop us. God’s voice tells us to step out and he will be Emmanuel, God with us. Are you ready to step out for what God has for you? He tells us that it is not by might nor by power but by his spirit. (Zechariah 4:6) Is the spirit of God calling you to step out?

Let’s Pray:

Father, you tell us we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us and we will be witnesses. (Acts 1:8) Holy Spirit lead us today, guide us today and show us great and mighty things we do not know.

Father, we are out of the boat. We are keeping our eyes fixed on you. Lead us step by step as we walk out on the water. Amen.

Have a blessed day water walkers. Keep your eyes fixed on him and he will keep you in perfect peace. (Colossians 3:1-2)

Matthew 14:22-34

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.  After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.  But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”  When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
