About a year ago I heard Abby Johnson on Focus on the Family, today I saw this on Jim Daly’s Facebook page. On the program I heard, Abby stated it was the love of the pro-life folks that got her to come to the other side, not the hate. Let us remember that hate always produces more hate, it is like pouring gas on a fire.

Abby Johnson, Annette Lancaster, and Sue Thayer offer a behind-the-scenes look at the abortion industry. They describe their past work for Planned Parenthood where they initially believed they were helping women in need, but later experienced a radical transformation of their perspective, leading them to become the passionate pro-life advocates they are today. “The world is changed by your example not by your opinion”. Paul Coelho

I am so unsettled by angry people, maybe in part because I battled anger for years and then the Lord got a hold of that and healed me. Yesterday I called a Pastor friend of mine, who really is more than a friend, he is a mentor. I told him that I have been in shock by the behavior of many Christians. Last month was tough for me as I got upset at two friends because I thought they were attacking me. I was worn down by all the bullets of anger being shot into the world around me. I was disappointed in myself and my two friends.

I have talked to people that are so stuck on their anger and opinion that they do not even hear what I am saying. We can lose our Christian testimony in seconds. My prayer is that Christians will not embarrass God by their behavior and show an unbelieving world what they want to see from crazy acting Christians.

Being angry only brings more anger, your pouring gas on a fire. Some people expressing their opinion to me are so focused on themselves…and….well, if I was to tell them I just came back from the dead…they would not even hear me, they only hear themselves.

We will not bring anybody into the Kingdom of God with anger.

I am talking to so many people that are having anxiety because of all the anger in the world.

I have to take time outs during the day to pray and seek the Lord so I do not let the anger of the world consume me. So many Christians are behaving badly, I pray it stops.

We are to be ambassadors for Jesus, a walking Bible, a shining light, not an angry person. Do people see Jesus in you?

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35
