Is His Heart Your Heart?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Another day the Lord has made and we will rejoice an be glad in it. Another day to celebrate.
I love to read Psalm 24 over and over again. It makes me know that God has a plan for every life, every city, state and nation, as it is all under his jurisdiction.
Yesterday, I went to pick up my grandchildren from daycare. On the way to my home to meet their mom we were talking. My three-year-old granddaughter began to talk about her heart. I inquired of her, who lives in her heart. She replied, Jesus. She began to name people and ask, does Jesus live in momma’s heart, daddy’s heart, and the list continued for several minutes. Sometimes my answer would be, I don’t know. I couldn’t help but laugh when she said, I talk to them about Jesus in their heart. Isn’t that precious? A precious moment.
Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:8,9 that it is by grace we have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are all God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Praise God that because he died and rose again, we can live the John 10:10 life. Let’s Pray:
Father thank you for life. Thank you for journeying every day with us. Every moment of every day is to be enjoyed. Every day is a celebration as we walk out our predestined lives.
Father may the mercy and grace you have bestowed upon us flow from us as we meet people today with the good news, the best news, that Jesus paid the price. The finished work of the cross is for everyone that will believe. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:13
