Hello Everyone,
Above is a copy of the billboard you will see when returning from Santa Fe. It is sponsored by the Pro-choice group Progress New Mexico. As I told you last week, they expressed several times during the Pro-choice rally that they are concerned about Roe v Wade being overturned so they are turning up the heat.
KRQE News covered a story featuring this billboard and said that “the billboard is the work of Progress New Mexico and their aim is to keep abortion safe and legal and keep women from being shamed about abortion. I have a lot to say about both topics, but I’ll spare you for now.
Below you see a billboard sponsored by Care Net Pregnancy Center of Santa Fe. The focus is information. They are not about shaming anyone. I know, I worked for Care Net for 5 years. The question I have for KRQE is why didn’t they give equal coverage? We know why of course.

I am proposing to all of you that we start a billboard campaign. Pro-choice advocates are wordsmiths and their messages are soon repeated by the culture. We need to jump into and beat them at their game. Many years ago I heard a speaker say, :You don’t get what you want, you get what you picture.” We have to change the narrative, in order to change the culture. Our focus needs to change from death to life.
Having said this, it is going to cost money, a great deal of money. Billboard ads are expensive. Roberta Cheek from Care Net Santa Fe said that 2 sisters committed to pay for their billboard for an entire year. It is going to take a concerted effort among us all. I ask you to consider giving to this cause. No gift is too small. I am also asking, if you have land along the I-40 or I-25 corridors and would allow us to place a large billboard on it, please let me know. This will greatly reduce our costs. Please share this message.
Thank you all for what you do for the cause of life.
God bless,

Ethel Maharg
