It’s Over…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Last evening it was late before I settled in to bask in Gods presence. The grocery shopping and all the duties of the day took me longer than what I anticipated. As I sat in his presence this morning, preparing to write my daily blog, I hear the words it’s over. I press in a little harder to discover what the message behind it is all about. The below zero temperatures this morning had me pull the scarf a little tighter as I continued to journey the morning. The cold winter mornings can’t change a grateful, thankful heart. I have learned to give God thanks no matter what is going on. The weather, life issues and circumstances can’t change a thankful heart.

I take the car to the garage, then on to prepare my turkey and stuffing, just like it is Thanksgiving day. I knew today would be a celebration. Somehow, I sense something that I was battling had now come to an end. The battle was never mine to fight in the first place, but the Lord’s. It truly is a new day.

My locked out computer has decided to let me in now that the morning will soon come to an end. Somehow, I sense today is a day that the Lord is saying to many, it’s over. The battle has been won and you have overcome. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for always having the final say. No person, no circumstance, no devil in hell can take you down. Father, thank you for tearing down the strongholds in our lives, our communities, our region and our nation. We have the victory because of Jesus and the finished work of the cross. When you said it’s over, it’s just what you meant. It’s over, done deal, forever settled. We give you thanks.

Father, thank you for the journey to the abundant life. (John 10:10) May we never take for granted the gift of the finished work of the cross. (John 19:30) Every battle we face, you give us the grace that sustains us through to the other side, as we praise you for the victory. We give you thanks, for our God reigns. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Shout it’s over! The battle has already been won.

Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15)
