I want to get the book, “Nerves of Steele”……I am thinking about Jennifer Riordan’s family and friends…..and praying……I also thank the Lord for Tammie Jo Shults.

I thank the ABQ Journal for this story……

On Flight 1380 on April 17, 2018, from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Dallas Love Field, a fan blade on the left engine broke loose, tore apart the engine and sent debris careering toward the fuselage. Debris shattered a window, causing an explosive decompression.

The loss of pressure from the broken window, passenger Jennifer Riordan was nearly sucked out of the plane as passengers tried to pull her back inside. The Albuquerque resident died later from her injuries.

I still get very sad when I think of Jennifer Riordan and her family. I did not know Jennifer, but all I have heard about her so many wonderful things about her…. she was an angel on earth. She is loved so much. I wonder at times how her family is doing.

I am thankful for this book by Southwest Pilot Tammie Jo Shults.
