Babies are at high risk here in New Mexico….from this awful, horrific situation, to abortion, to child abuse and parents killing their own. We, as a state rate are at the bottom or right near the bottom in child well-being.

New Mexico State Police is investigating the death of a newborn baby.

The baby was found after a father returned home to his home in La Madera, which is north of Espanola, New Mexico.

Newborn Dies KOB TV Report

We are weeping…….so very tragic…….God’s baby…….

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

We, the Church have to keep reaching out to all, giving them hope in Jesus! We must carry out The Great Commission.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

My Post from June of this year:

This is just plain awful! New Mexico is the worst place in America to be a kid!

What does New Mexico not understand about Matthew 19:14….But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

Has the Church forgotten this from Jesus? Matthew 28:19? THE GREAT COMMISSION! This is not a suggestion!  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

GO!

Albuquerque has become so violent that the FBI and State Police have been called into help APD!

Come on Church! It is up to the Church and Pastors to be leaders here! Put your prayers to work with your hands and feet! Go out and help families. Go where the help is needed. GO! Leave the walls of your Church, leave your so-called boundaries and go and help. It is just plain awful what is happening here in New Mexico, shameful! You can not leave our children’s future to the government. It is very, very wrong to think that the Republicans and Democrats can take care of our babies with money and laws. Both the Republicans and Democrats here in New Mexico have had the chance to fix this problem for many years and have promised to, both parties have failed miserably!

It is the Church’s responsibility! The Body of Christ! These are not Facebook video moments, being in the lights, ….this is getting your hands dirty. Getting out into the areas of New Mexico that suffer from such things as suicide, drug overdoses, children without a Mom or Dad at home, parents that are absent, parents that buy drugs instead of food,  etc… I know, I see it and do my best to help! Go into the homes of deep poverty, it will make you think! Walk through the laundry knee deep on the floor, backed up sewers…etc..

New Mexico should be ashamed. God is not happy! We have know one to blame but ourselves. It is time for the Church to look into the mirror. ABQ Journal Report

  • Why did Alyssa Milano have two abortions in 1993?
  • Why are celebrities endorsing abortion today?
  • How can we change the cultural narrative?
Alyssa Milano has made headlines often in recent years for her advocacy of abortion, the #MeToo movement, and various political candidates. Now she has revealed on her podcast that she had two abortions in 1993.She says she was in a serious relationship and was using birth control both times she became pregnant. She looks back on her decisions without regret: “I would not have my children . . . I would not have my career. I would not have the ability or platform I use to fight against oppression with all my heart. I would never have met my amazing husband.”

In short, Milano knew “she was not ready to be a parent” as she pursued her career. Of course, the Bible says that she became a parent the moment she became pregnant (cf. Psalm 139:13). And that her career came at the cost of her first two children.

Why is George Clooney selling coffee makers?

Our culture has forced me to write often on abortion over the years. (For my in-depth article on the subject, see my “Abortion and the mercy of God.”) Today’s news, however, leads me to make two points I’ve not discussed with you in the past.

First, pro-life supporters must beware the rising tide of celebrity abortion endorsements.

It is obvious in our culture that celebrity sells. Michael Jordan sold basketball shoes and underwear; George Clooney is making TV ads for a coffee maker. There was a day when voice-overs on TV ads were anonymous; today, you can identify nearly every movie star voicing every commercial.

This strategy is called “celebrity branding” and has roots going back to royal endorsements for pottery and chinaware in the 1760s. Advertisers hope the popularity wielded by celebrities will transfer to their product or idea.

Now we’re seeing this strategy employed by those who want to normalize and amplify abortion. There’s a reason Alyssa Milano is publicizing abortions she chose twenty-six years ago. People magazine published this week an article on “26 Celebrities Who Have Shared Their Abortion Stories to Help End the Stigma.”

Selena Gomez, a former Disney Channel actress and singer, recently donned a “1973” necklace to commemorate Roe v. Wade. Ariana Grande very publicly donated the proceeds from her June 8 concert in Atlanta to Planned Parenthood.

Did you know Jack Nicholson is opposed to abortion?

To show how one-sided media coverage on this subject is, consider the following counterexamples.

Jack Nicholson is against abortion. He explains that when his mother was pregnant with him, she was encouraged to get an abortion but refused.

Celine Dion is pro-life as well for the same reason. She was her mother’s fourteenth child. Her mother considered aborting her, but her priest encouraged her to bring her baby into the world.

Martin Sheen is pro-life due in part to the fact that his wife was conceived when her mother was raped. Her mother considered aborting her but chose to give her life.

Have you seen any of their stories in the news?

What percent of women who choose abortion are unmarried?

My second point this morning relates to Alyssa Milano’s announcement about her 1993 abortions. In both cases, she says she was in a committed relationship and was using birth control. But she was not married and thus did not believe she was ready for motherhood.

Her statement highlights a fact evangelicals need to remember and emphasize: all sexual relations outside heterosexual marriage are unbiblical.

Gone are the days when sex before marriage was seen as scandalous. It’s assumed in movies and TV shows that couples on their first date will sleep together. Unmarried couples live together with less stigma than ever before.

But when an unmarried woman learns she is pregnant, the pressure to abort is enormously greater than if she is married. In fact, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 85.7 percent of women who obtain an abortion are unmarried. This percentage accounts for more than fifty-two million babies aborted in the US since Roe v. Wade.

How do we change the cultural narrative?

Defending life today requires two commitments from God’s people.

One: We must be bold, courageous, loving, and undeterred in our public stance.

The other side will use the power of the mainstream media and celebrity branding however it can. God’s word to Israel is his encouragement to us: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Two: We must teach and model biblical morality in all its forms.

If we tell the culture that same-gender sexual relations are unbiblical, we must also tell the culture that opposite-gender sexual relations are unbiblical outside of marriage. We forfeit credibility on the issue of homosexual marriage if we do not require heterosexual purity of ourselves, our children, and our churches. “Flee from sexual immorality” is God’s command to all of us (1 Corinthians 6:18).

On this issue, as with so many other cultural challenges, our privilege and calling is to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Will you do both today?

NOTE: I’m often asked, “What does a culture-changing Christian look like?”

We use that phrase often at the Denison Forum, and with good cause. We’re called to inspire our audience to change the culture around them, for God’s glory.

But I’ve never gone so in-depth on defining “culture-changing Christian” until I wrote my latest book, Blessed: Eight Ways Christians Change Culture.

Through the framework of the Beatitudes, I explore Jesus’ timeless principles for living a life that can’t help but change the culture.

Post from may of 2019:

I will say again that the Church needs to preach heaven and hell, sin, repentance, salvation…..carry out the Great Commission. The Church has to stop being a high school pep rally as Chuck Colson said years ago. As the Church goes, the country goes…..We have to look into the mirror, take responsibility.

What compels people to mistreat helpless children?

May 17, 2019

From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: I am an advocate for children’s rights and believe that children are to be protected. What compels people to mistreat helpless children? — C.P.

A: When someone places his own gratification ahead of everything else, there are no limits to what a person will do. The Bible says evil imaginations have no limits (Psalm 73:7). Child abuse is a sign of selfishness and disregard for others. This is a tragedy. To injure, ignore, disrespect, and violate the innocence of a child are among the greatest evils known to man.

The press has publicized some of the more shocking and graphic aspects of child abuse — especially the physical abuse that makes sensational headlines. We are experiencing the results of parental neglect, mothers and fathers absent from the home, children exploited by advertising and mass media, immature sensibilities bombarded by erotic and vulgar programming aimed at vulnerable young minds, and the encouraging of excessive, even pathological, self-interest and self-absorption. The cause of this, however, is wrapped up in the little word “sin” that throws a brutal blow.

There is no remedy for sin outside of the Lord Jesus Christ. Human hearts must be transformed. Sin-sickness is deep within the soul of our society; and that has always been God’s exclusive territory — the souls of mankind.

We must pray for people whose hearts are filled with evil. We must speak God’s truth “to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness” (Romans 2:8).

God bless those who seek to bring healing to victims of child abuse. Let the foundation of this important work be based on the holy word of God. “Blessed be the … God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our (troubles), that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

Pray for Albuquerque.

Thankful for this report by KOB TV. It shows as we been saying for years Albuquerque is the abortion capital! Albuquerque is known for the death of God’s babies. I have been reporting on this for almost 15 years now, and I get sicker every time I report a story like this. How can God bless Albuquerque?

Past posts:

It breaks my heart that the Governor and many more feel they are ‘above God’ and feel it is okay to kill babies. This is unimaginable to me. It makes me weep that it has come to this, Hollywood and money over God’s babies. To Governor Lujan Grisham: I do not answer to you or Hollywood, I answer to our Lord Jesus Christ.

From Dr. Jim Denison:

“Be not wise in your own eyes”

As John F. Kennedy noted, “We are all mortal.” Given the reality of death, I am amazed by the degree to which people are willing to bet their eternity on their personal opinion.

Isaiah warned his day and ours: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20–21).

Wise King Solomon cautioned us: “Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil” (Proverbs 3:7). Paul, the brilliant apostle, agreed: “Never be wise in your own sight” (Romans 12:16).

Nonetheless, when it comes to our eternal destiny, our secular culture is convinced that opinion is fact. Has Satan fostered a more dangerous and popular deception today?

This is a Facebook post from Ethel Maharg of the Right to Life Committee of New Mexico. Thank you Ethel for standing in the gap for God and His babies! God Bless you and yours!

Below is a statement issued by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham because the Governor of Georgia signed the heartbeat bill:

“The situation in Georgia is appalling to me and, I know, so many New Mexicans. I hope film companies make the ethical choice and invest in states that are clear about baseline human rights, not least a woman’s autonomy over her own body. To those production companies and filmmakers across the U.S. and elsewhere I would offer a simple reminder: New Mexico is wide open for business. Bring your cameras.”

All I have to say is, Governor when you get 10,000 phone calls from New Mexicans and over 98% are opposed to abortion it sends a message loud and clear what we want the baseline to be. You just refuse to hear us. If Hollywood can’t understand that we don’t want abortion they can go elsewhere. No amount of money is worth the slaughter of innocent children, and abortion isn’t healthcare as it doesn’t address any symptoms.
