How Wealthy Are You?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As we sang this song yesterday in church, I couldn’t help but thank God that my relationship with him is the most valuable asset I have. I have never been too materialistic anyway. If I had something and someone needed it, I would give it to them. I never held on to earthly things too tightly. Maybe because growing up, I didn’t have much, I don’t know. One thing I do have and it’s the most valuable, is my journey with Jesus. No man gave me this and no man can take it away, believe me some have tried.

I love to hear Dr. Jeffrey Bell from Faith International Bible College speak about Jesus. I get so excited at times I have a hard time to contain myself. I like to sit alone so I don’t embarrass anyone. When you have experienced Jesus, the miraculous Jesus, it’s hard to contain it. The longer I walk with Jesus, the more I realize how wealthy I really am.

I pondered last night as he spoke about the teachers at this College. Most get paid minimum wage and pay rent for the privilege of teaching there. As they raise up leaders that will go all over the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, their wealth stored up in heaven must be great. I pondered what their mansion on the streets of gold will look like someday. What a privilege it is to work in his kingdom. I pondered if the mansions some build here on earth, will be the only mansions they will ever own…hmmm. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for Jesus, thank you for the Holy Spirit. Lead us today by still waters. You tell us in Matthew 6:20-21 to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. Father, examine our hearts today.

Father, thank you that you have come to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) It’s not the car we drive or the home we live in that defines us. Our wealth is in you. Our worth is in you, everything we need is in you.

Father, draw us close today as we draw close to you. (James 4:8) Amen? Amen!

All across this globe today, shout I am wealthy in Jesus!

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. How full of Jesus are you?
