Thought of the day:

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. Reference 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 NKJV

In pursuing our calls, sometimes we can forget that there are others who are there to help. We may tend to want to get the job done and so, we don’t wait on others to complete their portion. We can become impatient and maybe upset that they are not moving as fast as we would want them to, so, we step in and do it.

There are things we overlook if we do this. Maybe, God is working on that person. Maybe He’s having them take a look at themselves and realize that they need to be involved. Maybe He’s growing them into their position and preparing them for what He wants from them. Maybe He’s working on us and having us not be impatient or even work on our anger.

We may not know the reasons of what’s going on in someone’s life but, we need to not be so quick to take over for someone, unless, of course, it is confirmed that we are to do so. It’s an important part of our walks that we work with others, to help encourage us and to build us up in the Faith. It is important too so that we are not trying to carry the whole burden. Hopefully, it helps encourage those who are sitting on the sidelines to jump in as well.

Let’s reflect to day and be sure we’re either not taking on too much or that we’re not being lazy in our calls.

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it. We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already.
If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know. Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
