Have You Been Wronged? Trust God…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning of some ways I have been done wrong over the years. I was working at a job and I had worked in this office for several years. A friend had talked to me about coming to work at the same place. I gave her a good reference.  The next year she told my boss I offered to work in the next town and she would work in the town I worked in. She would now have my office. That conversation never happened, she lied to benefit herself. Some people will do anything to gain one up, to get their own way, but make no mistake about it, we all reap what we sow. I chose to forgive her as I drove to the next town that year. It was difficult for me as my kids were in the town in which I had previously worked. It was challenging on cold blistery days as I had always went home for my lunch, as my former office was less than a mile from my home. I would load the dishwasher from the breakfast dishes, do laundry and sometimes even get a start towards the evening duties.

I made the decision to stay in the little make shift office in the next town and see the year through. I chose to forgive the person that lied and asked God to heal my heart. I was determined that God orders my footsteps as I am a Christian and believe in his word. I asked him to pay me back for the wrong that was done to me. Did He?

I used my lunch time to pray and journal during those cold wintery months. I went deeper with my walk with the Lord as I began to trust Him with my life. I penned my first writing The Love Of My Father during that time. That writing has changed my life and many others since the time I penned it. I even organized a healing conference from that one writing from the lunch hour from the next town, from a time in which I was done wrong. Yes, God will pay you back. I can hardly make it through a day without writing now. I hope you will read it in my first soon to be published book. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you are a God of justice. Thank you for working all things out for our good according to your word. (Romans 8:28) Draw us closer to you, we pray. We choose to forgive as we have been forgiven much. Bring good from every wrong done to us. We trust you with our lives.

Father, thank you that your word tells us in Romans 9:12-21 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”  says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Father, to that we say amen!

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Let him pour down his healing rain on you today! He will pay you back. Oh, the love of the Father.
