Lord, You give us rest.
We are so excited to do for You that we forget to spend time in resting. We forget that we receive Strength from You. We forget that You Work through us. We forget that we cannot do anything without You. When we do not rest, we get anxious. We do not want to be fatigued, because, we are useless for what You called us to do. You prescribed a time of rest for us. Please, Help us to remember to take time for that rest. In this time, we can be encouraged by You and spend time reflecting on Your Love. This gives us the ability to share that Love with others. Please, Comfort us in this time. Thank You for all You give us in these times of rest. Thank You for allowing us to be part of what You are doing. Thank You for Working in and through us. We pray all this in Jesus Name, Amen.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it. We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already.
