Having already passed the radical pro-abortion bill, HB 51, the House of Representatives is now scheduled to vote on assisted suicide legislation, HB 90.
This bill has been described by many as the most dangerous assisted suicide legislation that has ever been proposed in any state!
HB 90:

  • Allows non-physicians to determine a patient’s mental capacity, then diagnose and prescribe lethal drugs to bring about the patient’s death;
  • Forces doctors and medical professionals to violate their conscience and refer patients for assisted suicide;
  • Does NOT protect ill and vulnerable New Mexicans from abuse and coercion from profit-driven insurance companies that deem life-saving treatment more costly than lethal drugs; and
  • Does NOT require trained medical personnel to be present at the time the lethal drugs are taken, creating the opportunity for a predatory family member or caregiver to administer the lethal drugs without the patient’s knowledge or consent

HB 90 will likely be voted on this week and we need you to urge your Representative to vote “NO.”

We have made it simple to communicate this request. Simply click here and you can send this message in 30 seconds!
