1 Peter 2:4-10 (NKJV): Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;  who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Peter is talking to The Church and telling us that we need not to shy away from telling it like it is. We need to stand up again as The Body of Christ and we need to Shine for Him. We need to be The Watchmen on The Wall as we hear about in Ezekiel. We need to be willing to help others see where they are causing more harm than good, no matter who they are.

In today’s world, we are seeing more and more church services that are being watered down, and the messages are feel good messages. We are seeing more focus being put on how the music sounds, how the building looks and not enough on The Word.

If we are to make a difference in Today’s Society, start speaking Truth and don’t worry if others reject you, it’s not them who we are to impress anyway. Don’t be shocked if more people pull away from you the more you draw closer to God, in the end, He is The One who we will need to answer to anyway.

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
