Sanctity of Life Awareness & Unity Day
March for Life
Wednesday, January 16
Sanctity of Life Awareness & Unity Day will take place in Santa Fe on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Unite with Catholics and Protestants in celebration and affirmation of life – from conception to natural death. Family Policy Alliance of New Mexico and New Mexico Prays, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, are sponsoring this event. The schedule is as follows:
11:00 a.m. Knights of Columbus Continental Breakfast, Crispin Hall
11:30 a.m. Casual Lunch provided in Room 307, State Capitol Building
12:00 noon Sanctity of Life Cathedral Mass with New Mexico’s Three Bishops
Participants are urged to bring baby items such as diapers, baby bottles and blankets and items for the elderly such as socks and toiletries to be distributed to those in need.
1:30 p.m. Combined Procession to the Roundhouse
2:00 p.m. Rally at the Roundhouse followed by Legislator Visitation
This event is open to all.
Out-of-Town Participants:
Railrunner #506 has been dubbed The Life Train. The train leaves Belen, NM at 6:45 a.m. and will make each stop on the way to Santa Fe. Shuttles are available in Santa Fe. The return Railrunner is #515
and leaves at 4:15 p.m.
