One of the hardest things we get to go through as a Believer is when we are facing trials.

There are some who walk in this walk with us, that will tell us we are facing these because we don’t have enough Faith. They will even tell us that the trial will go away when our Faith increases. However, we have to be careful of this type of doctrine as it is through the trials, Our Lord grows us.

When we face a trial, it is not that we are in sin, it is to help us to see where we are to turn for Help. It is also something we may face because Our Lord is changing something in our lives. It could be habits we have formed that are ot pleasing to Him. It could be thinking that we have that pulls us away from Him. It could be things that we were taught that do not line up with His Will.

If you are going through any trial(s) of sorts, remember that He is there with you to walk you through. (1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV): No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.)

Lord, if we are to count it all joy when we fall into various trials, we need Your Help to do so. We need to learn that the testing of our faith produces patience. Especially, when patience is not something we can understand. You teach us to let patience have its perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Your Desire for us is that we change from “The Old Man” to “The New Man”. You guide us through these changes to Help us to know that these things will be for the better for us. If we lack wisdom, then we are to ask You for it, because You give to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us. We are to ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. In doing this, we learn to grow in Faith and learn to Trust You in all things. For we are not to suppose that we will receive anything from You, if we have doubts, because then we double-minded, unstable in all of our ways. Please, Help us to seek You every day. In Jesus Name, Amen. (Taken From James 1:2-8)

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
