I have to praise God and say, that I was fighting a terrible headache from a head cold as I sit down to write this for you today! BUT, I prayed, Jesus don’t let me push through something that you don’t ask me to do. I held my head and my headache started to immediately ease! It is gone now!!! I could have taken the nap, but by my faith, this is the good, God asked me to do … and all I can say, is Thank you Jesus and I hope this is a blessing to you. God is good! We can trust in Jesus – no matter what it is God asks us to do. Hallelujah to the Resurrected Lamb of God! He’s Alive!!! And, To God be the Glory!

- The Follower of Jesus goes to God for advise to do good.
The Scripture opens up with:
Don’t copy the behavior & customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
THEN you will learn to know GOD’S WILL FOR YOU, which is GOOD & pleasing & perfect.
Because of the privilege & authority God has given me (Paul), I give each of you this warning:
Don’t think you are better than you really are.
BE honest IN your evaluation OF yourselves, measuring yourselves BY the faith God has given us.
Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing GOOD.
Romans 12:2-3, 21 NLT
Friends, in this world, a child of God goes to God for our answers. Christ Jesus makes a marked difference in our life! We may wrestle with the right thing to do, but once we know God’s thoughts, we will choose to honor God by our response to troubles.
Perhaps you need to hear this? There are those of this world that go to the world for advise to continue doing wrong; rather than to God for His thoughts to do good.
This is where our faith in God takes a strong faith to obey, because God’s word says show compassion & pray for those who persecute you. YES! Yet, the Bible also tells you when to shake the Dust off of your feet TO FOLLOW Christ & even to take your peace with you as you leave; UNLESS the PEACE you EXTEND is RECEIVED.
You may be thinking, I thought this Scripture was about conquering evil & doing good? WHAT DOES FAITH HAVE TO DO WITH DOING GOOD? ~everything!
By faith we please God & without faith it is impossible to please God.
The graces we have with fellow believers is amazing Grace, because believers get our information from the same source: The Ministries of Jesus; IF possible, we are to remain at peace with everyone.
YET, there are those who do not seek to get their wisdom from God, but rather SEEK their wisdom from the world. We are free, by faith, also in their system, because the law is set up for those who do wrong.
I share this with you, because, Jesus had to respond to the ways of the world. Whose head is on the coin? GO TO GOD & PAY! God did a miracle! He provided the coin to pay His tax & His disciple’s.
As you read this Chapter in Romans 12 that surrounds & leads to this verse of Today, Romans 12:21, consider also this message from Matthew 17:27,
Jesus did not consider himself exempt from doing good, even though he was short a bit on cash!
“But so that we may not cause offense, GO to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours (Matthew 17:27).”
Faith in Christ is the only Way to do good!
Pray, establish faith & Respond with God.
What IS good? GOD IS GOOD!
