Every Heart Is Hungry For This…

Good Morning beautiful people, good morning. I am blessed to meet so many of God’s beautiful people. One thing I discovered is that everyone has a need to be loved and cared for. Everyone wants to feel like they matter. Every breathing life has a soul that is hungry to be filled.
I attended a prayer meeting Saturday night, and this morning I smile as I reflect back on that evening. I turned around in my chair to pray with an elderly couple for the persecuted Christians. The dear couple shared their names and then the sweet lady went on to tell me how much in love they are. Married for 54 years and never had an argument, she went on to share. I laughed and said, this must be what they call marital bliss. She chatted a bit more and my serious nature was concerned we wouldn’t have enough time to pray our assignment. Somehow time stood still and we got it all done.
His yellow Hawaiian shirt and his head nodding into agreement as she chatted about the love between them left an impression on me. I asked God that night to allow me to meet up with them again the next day, as I attended one of their two morning Sunday Services.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw them. She had gotten a bit lost trying to find her seat after returning from the ladies room. He was half standing and waving her in the right direction as the pastor continued to speak. It was the cutest sight to behold. After service I met them once again in this quite large auditorium full of people. He came up and thanked me for my prayers the prior evening and said I was quite inspirational. The last sight I saw as I drove away from that beautiful church that morning, was this elderly couple driving off in their antique car. They really touched my heart. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that love is like a river. Thank you for your love for us, your gentle care. You draw us back to yourself when we have gone astray. When we understand the love of God, it changes everything. You are the best Father, and we ask you, oh God, to be in drivers seat of our lives.
Fill every empty place today in out hearts good Father, so like a river we can let it flow from one to another. Amen
