Morning Prayer

Good Morning! Let’s ask The Holy Spirit to Help is to share about God’s Redeeming Love through Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection. This, of course, is part of The Great Commission given to us.

Holy Spirit, we need Your Help. Because, when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. But we know, to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. (Taken From 1 Corinthians 1:23-24)

We get so intimidated when others tell us that this message is ridiculous. We become afraid to share what we know, because we fear what others think of us. We are stumbled, when asked questions about this message, because we are not prepared. We don’t invest enough time in teaching who Jesus is, because we forget, that we are to make disciple or think we are too busy.

We want to start by seeking forgiveness in all of this. We are seeking to turn this around. We want to do what is right.

We understand that it starts by studying and reading The Bible daily. We know that we need to seek fellowship with others and instruction from wise men, so we can have a better grasp on what we believe. We know that we should seek for answers in prayer as well.

We are giving You Permission to correct us I’m the areas that we fall short. We are giving You Permission to remind us about what we need to do. We are giving You Permission to send others in our lives who will keep us accountable.

We are so Thankful that You are here to Help and Guide us.

We pray all of this In Jesus Name, Amen.
