Psalm 119:161-168 (NKJV): Princes persecute me without a cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your word. 162 I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. 163 I hate and abhor lying, But I love Your law. 164 Seven times a day I praise You, Because of Your righteous judgments. 165 Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. 166 Lord, I hope for Your salvation, And I do Your commandments. 167 My soul keeps Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly. 168 I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You.

As we get closer to ending at looking at this Psalm, it seems we come full circle and talk about embracing God’s Word. How else do we grow? How else do we know what HE promises us? How else do we battle against the Spiritual nature of things? By embracing His Word in our lives and learning about Who He is.

It reveals what His Plans are. It brings us comfort and reassurance. It brings us Direction. It leads us to change. It instructs us in Righteousness. It reveals those who would deceive us.

Let’s be in His Word daily. Let’s look for where He would want us to grow and to follow Him. Let’s hear Him speak to us through it. It is, after all, His Love Letter to us.

Do you have a regular time of study? You should plan for it. If you don’t mane a commitment today to do so.

We will continue to be looking at Psalm 119 in sections. Although,  we need Jesus to bring us back into A Relationship with God The Father, this Psalm lays a foundation of how we should be walking in our Faith walks.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
