Morning Prayer

We will boast in You, Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom You commend. You Are the One who decides. (Taken From 2 Corinthians 10:17-18) We cannot decide on who You approve. We cannot bring You Honor by bragging about we have done.

Instead, we should brag about what You have done in our lives. It is You, Lord, Who brings change. It is You, Lord, Who brings Provisions. It is You, Lord, Who brings healing. It is You, Lord, Who sets The Standards for us.

We ask for Your Guidance to bring You Honor. We ask for Strength to not fall astray. We ask for Your Protection from those who would bring us harm. We ask for You to guard out thoughts and actions towards others.

Oir understanding is that it’s not just through what we say that will bring You honor, it’s through our actions. You tell us that because of the love we show, this will be evidence that we are Your Disciples. Lord, we can only love this way when we seek You and learn. You are the One who can Love unconditionally.

Mae ask for forgiveness that we seek returns from the Love we share. We hope to be able to love like You do.

Thank You that You allow us to be part of The Work You do. Thank You for working in and through us daily. Thank You for being generous in all areas. I’m Jesus Name, Amen.
