You Must Believe For Yourself…

Good morning beautiful people. Who are you believing? This morning as I read from Romans 10, I get so excited. Make sure today you are believing in Jesus. He is the man that holds your destiny.

Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all, is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I am so thankful that God Himself has made it easy to journey life with Him. No man can buy Jesus and no man can beg their way in. You simply come as you are and believe. As much as we try to do what’s right, we miss the mark many times. Doesn’t change a thing, He says you are mine, I paid the price. He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (1 John 2:2)  Someone shout, the whole world.

I remember my New Believers Study Bible my sister gave me. I would sit at my dining room table and read these powerful scriptures. I struggled to believe them. I asked my pastor once back then; Are you sure we can believe this? He assured me with a nod of his head, I could believe. I still struggled at times, but asked God Himself to strengthen my believe.

It was in Atlanta, Georgia that my New Believers Study Bible went with some women from another religion. They picked it up as I had it by the computer at my hotel when I attended the Threshing Floor Conference. I didn’t have the heart to ask for it back as I saw their veiled faces. I knew they needed to read it. I cried as it held valuable notes, many prayers and the picture of the 5 AM Bible study women’s group I attended, Believing God. I am confident they know Jesus by now through these Holy Scriptures. I am looking forward to seeing these precious women in heaven.

It was Martin Luther that said Every man must do two things alone; he must do his own believing and his own dying.

My prayer today is simply this: Father, we believe. Forgive our unbelief. Can you pray the same?

Have a blessed day beautiful people…Believe
