He Does Not Pretend to Be a One-Man Church

I love this quote, it comes from the year 1954 from British commentator George Scott when Billy Graham was holding meetings, “If the people will not go to the Church, the Church must go to the people….One of the strongest things in Graham’s favor, the fact most likely to overcome the national prejudice against him, is that he does not pretend to be a one-man Church. He sees his mission primarily as that as a fairground barker who will first win the eyes and ears of the public so that they will be attracted to the tent.”

The quote comes from the book “The Leadership Secrets of Billy Graham”

Pastor Don Kimbro gave me this book years ago! I have learned much! Pastor Don has been one of my main mentors, Sharon and I love him and Dorothy so very much!
