This is such exciting news! Two Albuquerque natives have reached the World Series which begins tonight! Alex Bregman and Ken Giles play important roles for the Houston Astros. I will be rooting for Houston to take World Series because of Bregman and Giles and how the team has come back to be a contender. The most important reason for me in rooting on Houston is, it has suffered much hardship, being struck a hurricane. My Dodger buddies will not like me rooting for the Astros! I also have in the back of my mind that the Dodgers beat my Minnesota Twins in the 1965 World Series!!! LOL!

I also will add that New Mexico native Nathan Lucero is the Dodgers trainer! Congrats Nathan!

Also being a Twins fan, I have to add that Mitch Garver of Albuquerque made is major league debut with the Twins this year and has a very bright future with the Twins!

It is so great to see so many from New Mexico in the Major Leagues!!!!!!!! PTL!
