‘Unprecedented’ global cyberattack spreads to 150 countries, Europol says
The worldwide ransomware attack hit 200,000 victims in at least 150 countries and could spread further, the head of Europol said Sunday. Rob Wainwright said the global reach of the attack was “unprecedented” and the FBI was assisting in trying to identify the culprits. “It is unlikely to be just be one person, I think.”
