It is a very sad thing, makes me weep, that so many in New Mexico put so much faith in a college basketball program and makes the coach, now former coach Neal, the highest paid state employee. Coach Neal’s contract was for a base salary of $950,000 according to the ABQ Journal. Now UNM will also have to pay a 1 million buyout.
New Mexico where is your priorities? Children? We allow abortions. Aborted babies never get to go to school.
I for one am tired of the reckless spending by UNM!
