Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

What is Hope? By Jeanne Theriault

Romans 8:24 For  in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patently.

Hope gives us a future

Hope is a gift from the Spirit

Hope keeps  us going

Hope is never giving up

Hope always prevails

Hope see’s God’s love

Hope brings the reward

Hope is having confidence

Hope waits patiently

Hope gives us an expected end

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 62:5 Find rest O my soul in God alone, my hope comes from him. 6 He alone is my rock and my salvation he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchman wait for the morning more than watchman wait for the morning.

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Hope, we as God’s children should never loose hope, but stay grounded in the word of God. The knowing and having that assurance that God is faithful towards all of his promises. No matter what we go through God is always, always with us. Though we may not understand, it is not up to us to figure out God , but to totally put our hope in him.

Hebrews 6:18 It is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Having hope is like faith. A faith that cannot be moved by circumstances or what the eyes cannot see because unseen God is seen in his faithfulness.

Romans 8:24 For this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Romans 5:1 Therefore  since we have been justified through faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Lord you are my hope, you are my foundation. Help me Lord to hold fast  your word never loose hope and that assurance of your promises that you have given your children. The hope that you give is an anchor for our soul. Because I have this hope my heart is purified and hope is that  light that will shine through darkness. Amen
