Photo of Bethany Lutheran Church Near Bergen, Minnesota from Bob Hanson. This is the Church my Grandpa and Grandma, Floyd and Lean Caraway attended. I attended Church with them there a few times. Such a lovely Church. I miss Grandma and Grandpa greatly. They helped raise me up to be a preacher, it took me years, but I am here! Grandma spoke over me in 1974 that I would be a preacher! Glory!

Morning Inspiration: Dear brothers & sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and warn you against all that is wrong. Think highly of them and give them your wholehearted love because of their work. And remember to live peaceably with each other.
1st Thessalonians 5:12-13

Church leaders not only deserve our respect, they crave it! So many pastors, elders, Sunday school teachers & volunteers never hear anything but criticism & complaints. Then we wonder why they burn out, drop out or move away. Whether it’s a worship leader, an usher or a greeter, remember to express your thanks & appreciation for what they do for you! Pastors have an incredibly difficult job, and can’t truly flourish or be their best, without our ongoing support & encouragement. Pray for your pastors, & let them how much you appreciate the sacrifice they make. Perhaps the BEST way we can help them, is to get along with each other. No Pastor wants or needs to be drawn into a disagreement between others in the church. We honor Jesus, & our leaders, when we handle these things according to God’s Word.
