Syrian Military Accuses Israel of Strikes

Military forces loyal to the regime of Syrian president Bashar Assad issued a statement Friday accusing Israel of conducting military strikes on a military facility near Damascus. “Syrian army command and armed forces warn Israel of the repercussions of the flagrant attack and stresses its continued fight against (this) terrorism and amputate the arms of the perpetrators,” the  statement said.

France Receiving Protests as Paris Conference Looms

France’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York was the scene of protest Thursday as an estimated 5,000 demonstrators came to show their opposition to an international conference planned to be held in Paris on Sunday to address the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Holding a banner saying “Shame on the UN,” the protesters demanded that the UN “immediately cease its unjust targeting of Israel and focus on real issues such as Syrian Genocide and Global Islamic Terror.”

US Court Orders Syria and Iran to Pay Family of Murdered Israeli-American

The US District Court in Washington DC issued a ruling this week ordering the government of Iran and the Assad regime in Syria to pay $178.5 million to the family of an Israel—American dual citizen who was murdered in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem in 2014. The victim, 3-month old Chaya Zissel Braun, was killed by Palestinian terrorist Abdel Rahman Shaludi, later identified as an operative of the Islamist terror militia Hamas, which has received extensive material support from the Assad regime and the clerical regime in Iran.

Netanyahu Investigation Continues

The investigation into alleged corruption by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued this week when police questioned his wife, Sara. In a separate line of investigation, Zionist Union MK Eitan Cabel was interviewed on Tuesday in connection with allegations that Netanyahu attempted to solicit inappropriate political favors from Arnon “Noni” Mozes, publisher of Israel’s largest circulation daily newspaper, Yediot Aharonot.
