This from Darlene Quiring on her husband, Gerhard: Please pray. We are on our way to Mankato, Minnesota. They found my husband unconscious in Windom in a parking lot and had to do CPR in ambulance. He is stable and transferring him to Mankato. PRAY PLEASE.

The Dr. was just in to talk to us so were finally able to get some answers. About half of his heart was damaged. He told us that if had not been in the hospital lot when he went down he would more then likely not have made it. God was definitely with him during this time.

I want to thank everyone for the prayers. I wish I could do it individually but am not able to do so. Will continue to post updates. The biggest thing right now is to continue to pray for Gerhard.
We are at the motel for night. Gerhard is feeling a little better but very sore. It looks like when they did CPR after the cardiac arrest they may have broke some ribs. His whole chest is black and blue. They had the paddles on him but did not have to use them. They are also keeping an eye on him because the lower part of his lung has some fluid so they are watching closely so he does not get pneumonia.

UPDATED 3PM 1/2/17:
Just got back to the floor. They did an angiogram. He had three blockages. Put one stint in for two of them that were 95% blocked. The third one was an old blockage and it had already found a new way on its own. We will be here for a few more days.

UPDATE: Hospital staff are doing an angiogram on Gerhard. He is calm. Darlene is at hospital and on the way to his room.
Both Darlene and Gerhard took part in the Windom Revival! Very special people of God! Amen!
