If you struggle my friend with the concept of having Jesus be your Lord and Master, take a look at Romans 8:14….”Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” In other places in scripture, we are referred to as: God’s Children, The family of God, The redeemed of God, Heirs to the throne of God, Joint heirs with Jesus Christ and the Bride of Christ. The only way that you and I can honestly claim any of those titles is if we are allowing Jesus Christ to be “Lord and Master” of our lives! The only reason those titles are made available to us is because of what Jesus did on the Cross. Not because of anything we did! I’d say that obligates us! Please make sure and read Romans 8:12-18.
