Do You Want to See Real Change? By Alan Wimbish

Race to the White House. I hear this everywhere. The race is heating up and in a few months, there will be someone new sitting in the White House as President. The country is holding its collective breath to see who will win the White House because it means the country has a chance to change things. Unfortunately, this may only bring temporary change, and in four to eight years, the opposing party will try to get their candidate elected because, in their opinion, they have the answer to how to fix everything. Do you really want to see change? Real change? Reach the children with the Gospel. There you go. That’s it. Reach the children, lead them to Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, establish them in a local Bible believing church. They will grow up to become the next generation that calls out to God. God’s true Word the Bible, tells us, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;” (Psalm 33:12). Now if we believe that God’s Word is true and that He will do what He promises; then He will bless America again, if America calls out to God. Right now, our nation is not doing that, and sadly, America is reaping what it has sown over the past forty years. Child Evangelism Fellowship wants to partner with you and your church to change this. It can be done. It must be done or the America that we know will be a memory that we will tell our grandchildren about. OR, we can tell our children about Jesus, and His love for them, that He died for them, and rose again the third day. It’s very easy to get caught up in the minutia of politics and denominational differences. By focusing on this, we miss the forest for the trees. The forest is the children and right now, they are lost in the darkness of sin. The children of New Mexico need to hear about the Light that can save them from sin and give them purpose and eternal life. Many years ago H. A. Ironside, the great theologian and commentator, was part of a Bible conference with other great theologians of his time. During a question and answer time, a man in the crowd stood up and asked Mr. Ironside what was the greatest truth of the Bible. Without hesitation, Mr. Ironside answered, “Jesus loves me, this I know, because the Bible tells me so.” This is the mission of CEF. We are the largest children’s missionary organization in the world. God has blessed CEF for 80 years because CEF has kept the evangelization of children as the focus of all that we do. We have never strayed from our mission. Do you want to change this country? You can! Get involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship of New Mexico and change New Mexico by reaching the children.
