Religious Freedom in New Mexico: House Bill 55, By Pastor Bill Ruhl of Global Destiny Ministries and FGGAM Vice Chairman.

Privileged to be able to attend the HB55 prayer and support rally at New Beginnings Church today to hear NM Representatives David Gallegos and Nora Burnette Espinoza explain the proposed changes necessary for both the NM Religious Freedom Restoration Act and Human Rights Act to better reflect the rights, freedoms, and protected beliefs of all NM citizens. Stressing the bill is not about discrimination, hatred, or prejudice, but changing wording to insure mutual respect for all citizens and clarifying statutes, the speakers urged New Mexicans to contact the Governor’s office to get this bill on the agenda for this session and contact your legislators to then support this bill. Please let your voices be heard concerning HB 55… We only have until Tuesday to get this measure on the agenda… call and email the Governor and your district Representatives.
