WOW! PRAISE GOD! Yesterday was the annual Harvest Festival put on by the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, New Mexico at Haynes Park.Festival 1Festival Dan For some great background on this event, read this by Teri Mayerstein History of the Harvest Festival. I was blessed to be with Dan and Laura Rosecrans of The HUB of New Mexico, broadcasting live! THE HUB! LISTEN NOW! Dan told me last night that some estimates put the turnout at 10,000 people, young and old. What an outreach for Jesus Christ. The Body of Christ reaching out into the community and sharing the love of Jesus! A safe and glorious alternative to trick or treat. There where hayrides, games, puppet shows, music, plenty of candy and food! All free! A Church service at 6pm! So many people came together to show our community the love of Jesus Christ. FGGAM had a very small part in this, but we are so very thankful that we were able to be part of such a Godly event. They tell me this is a record turnout in the 19 years the festival has been held. I want to salute The The HUB of New Mexico for broadcasting live from the event, which helped build attendance and awareness of this years Harvest Festival, radio at work! Congratulations to our partners Dan and Laura!

God Bless all the folks at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho and all the other churches and volunteers who helped!

The Rio Rancho Police Department and Fire department were also on hand showing their support of this event.

I got to sound the siren of a 1949 LaFrance firetruck that was on display! Great memories for this former firefighter!
