Forgiven…Enemies
Today, let’s start by praying forgiveness prayers together.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Matthew 6:15 If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Luke 6:27 But to you who are listening I say, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.
Proverbs 25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
1 John 1:9-10 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Father, thank you for a heart that forgives. Not everyone that claims to walk with you truly does. You are the one that separates the sheep from the goats. Where I have offended, I pray for the grace for others to forgive. Where I have been hurt and wounded, I pray God for the grace to forgive others. You know everything Lord; you see the evil and hear every word whispered in the dark. You said, oh God, you would bring whatever happens in the dark to the light. Let it be so today, we pray. We petition your throne room for truth to be exposed.
Today, may many wounds be healed and people made whole in your presence. For in your presence is fullness of joy. Today forgiveness is granted once again.
All across this globe today, we bless our enemies and pray for them. We ask you, oh God, to perform your Word in people’s lives. For it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit. Breathe fresh on your people today we pray.
Today, we declare forgiveness and we receive our own. Amen
