Listen Up Heart…

As followers of Jesus today let’s pray:

 Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Luke 9:23  Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Isaiah 48:17-18  Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Father, thank you for the price you paid for us. We don’t want to be just nominal Christians, we want to be sold out, strong, non- wavering, loving Christians. We give you permission to work in our lives until we truly are a follower of Jesus. We want to know the heart beat of our God.  Thank you for changing us from glory to glory.

Entwine our hearts with you today, Oh God, so that your heart is our heart. Doing your will.

Today, all across this globe we declare we are journeying to be full fledged followers of Jesus Christ.  Amen
