REPORT: China Is Prepared To Sell Iran Fighter Jets

China and Iran (Illustrative)Several months before sanctions on Iran over its renegade nuclear program are scheduled to begin to be relaxed, international corporations and governments have already sent signals of having deals which would greatly enhance Iran’s economy and military power ready to execute. A report emerged in the Taiwanese press this week that China is prepared to sell Iran a squadron of its most advanced fighter jets in exchange for privileged access to oil fields. Additionally, Russia is reportedly prepared to move forward with the long-delayed supply of the S-300 air defense system to Iran and government ministers from several European countries have also visited Teheran in recent days to explore potential deals. All of this is occurring despite the fact that Iran has already breached elements of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) according to remarks Wednesday by Yukiya Amano, chief of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency.
