Islamic State Believed Connected to Attacks in United States, Egypt and Saudi Arabia

IS gunmen (Illustrative)Police in Chatannooga Tennessee are investigating the possible connection to the Islamic State (IS) terror militia to a terrorist shooting attack Thursday which left four US Marines dead and three other people wounded. The shooter, Kuwaiti-born Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, was also killed. The FBI said they believed he acted alone, but noting the similarity to recent IS-inspired incidents in Tunisia and Europe. Meanwhile, IS was claiming responsibility for a sophisticated missile attack on an Egyptian navy vessel off North Sinai on Thursday and police in Saudi Arabia said that a car bomb which went off at a checkpoint in the capital of Riyadh Thursday evening was also likely an IS operation.
