Yet another flotilla is being organized by international anti-Israel networks to attempt running the blockade of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, centered on a Swedish fishing vessel called the Marianne av Göteborg. Israeli-Arab MK Basel Ghattas told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday that he plans to join the flotilla, declaring that the protesters have “no violent intentions” but adding “If the IDF wants to kill, then shoot!” Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely characterized Ghattas’s announcement as an example of “serving the enemy with parliamentary immunity.” She added that the flotillas are totally unnecessary since Israel sends dozens of truckloads worth of supplies into Gaza every day and that “Flotillas like the one making its way to Israel are the handiwork of provocateurs who only want to make Israel look bad.” Read More
