Obama Warns Netanyahu of ‘Reassessment’ of Support

Israel and the US (GRAPHIC)US President Barack Obama told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a phone call on Thursday that his Administration “will need to reassess our options following the prime minister’s new positions and comments regarding the two-state solution,” according to a statement made to the Jerusalem Post by an Administration official familiar with the call. The official added that the two leaders  “also discussed Prime Minister Netanyahu’s comments about Israeli Arabs.” Elsewhere, Netanyahu gave an interview to MSNBC‘s Andrea Mitchell on Thursday in which he clarified his election season remarks about his stance on the creation of a Palestinian State, saying he hadn’t retracted his commitment to the idea which he made during his speech in Bar Ilan University six years ago.
