Thunder, lighting and high winds buffeted the capital through most of the evening and night Thursday, with low temperatures expected to continue through the weekend. Heavy snow also fell in the northern and central mountains, with rain hitting many coastal communities and the level of the Sea of Galille rising another 1.5 centimeters by nightfall Thursday reaching 212.35 meters below sea level, the Water Authority said.
